How I Use AI (And What's All Me)
I'd rather tell you this up front than have you wonder
What AI helps with
I use AI tools the way I'd use a really fast assistant: helping me outline a post, tidy up clunky sentences, catch typos, pull together research, and organize information so it's easier to read. It speeds up the boring parts so I can spend my time on the parts that actually matter.
What's always me
The stories are mine. The trips, the mishaps, the opinions, the "I wouldn't buy this again" — those come from my own life and my own judgment. Nobody and nothing writes those for me. The voice you're reading is my voice, and every recommendation on this site is one I stand behind personally.
About the images
Most of the photos here are my own. I edit and enhance them — cropping, lighting, color, the usual — the same way anyone does before posting a picture. Occasionally I'll use an AI-generated image, usually when I need something illustrative that I don't have a real photo for.
Why I'm telling you
Because you should know how the things you read are made. AI is a tool I use; it isn't the person behind this blog. That's still me.
Questions about any of this?

Hey I'm Ashley.
